My neighbor has been buying cars (it's a long story). This is the third Corvette he has bought. It used to be blue. Today, he spray painted it (mostly) red with a rattle can of spray paint. Yes, that's paint on the windows and tires. No masking, just paint it all. It looks like he ran out when he got to the driver's door. I had to fiddle with the exposure in Photoshop, since I couldn't exactly stand in his front yard and do a photo session. But you get the idea. Wow. Just, wow.

Are you sure it's not just water color and he wants to see what it looks like in red before he invests in an expensive paint job? It will probably wash right off. It's not like there are a bunch of red Corvettes around since it's the most expensive color.

easy as pie. Prep the car, rough it up, get rustoleum, thin it out quite a bit with mineral spirits, roll it on, sand, repeat rolling. Great process, well documented online. It dries hard so is prone to chipping a bit easier, but you can touch up with ease
